Late comment but ... around the time you uploaded this I played a run of gigs with the man who wrote this song, Alain Johannes. We rehearsed in our practise room for a week then played two long weekenders around the UK. Alain Johannes, in the back seat of my van, and a lovelier guy you couldn't meet. We did a sort of amalgam of the Queens versions and the original Desert Sessions version - the original hits the minor third in the intro line rather than the major. Every show went well but that line pops the crowd to a new level every time. Awesome.

I have this bass and I'm so glad I grabbed one: it's definitely the best Squier and one of the best P-Basses I've ever played, incredible tone...can give many Fenders a run for their money. I use it more as a Motown funk machine with flats and foam mute and it works incredibly well in that capacity. Excellent vid!
