i think they use other guitars because the song is in standard tuning.. the other songs are in C. And troy's new guitar is his own signature "yamaha TVL" btw. this is really a dot.. i have the same guitar :D

Mr Homme is very picky about his guitars, and even guitars of the same model sound different, so I'm sure his is a particularly good one. I noticed three notes that could be construed as accidents - not exactly a disaster, although Josh never usually plays a single bum note
