Trixie went into season 7 with a persona and an act, and by the time she came back for the reunion, she had a full-on brand. Can’t wait for the empire.... especially with Katya as co-empress.

I think it is awesome for Trixie to have projects both with and without Katya. I suspect it is healthier for both of them for there to be a few projects that are separate. That way if Katya needs time away from drag again at any point in the future she can do so not needing to feel like she is sabotaging her friend's career while trying to get well and Trixie can feel fully supportive of the effort to stay sober without feeling as conflicted about the business hit.

It's unique speech pattern for a girl from Pittsburgh (I grew up an hour northeast of there), so it just be the confluence of Great Lakes English dialect (aka the Northern Inland Vowel Shift), Pittsburghese (another dialect phenomenon based on Scots-Irish and German) and Appalachian English (another dialect phenomenon). The Pittsburgh metro area is huge - it goes west as West Virginia and as far north as northeast Ohio.

I know that this has already been said a lot in the comments but I have a bit of an extra point. Derek, having a completely different style of drag, defending trixie is such a breath of fresh air. Usually it's the girls that have the more "traditional style" of drag who pick on the more abstract queens. To see that defense from a queen like Derek is so nice, and the fact that she was accurately able to convey her drag was awesome. Even though Derek can be problematic at points, there does seem to be a good heart in there.
