Hi David and Rachel a lovely video as ever we love the solway coast and we have been many times love sweetheart abbey caerlaverlock castle and kirkudbright wome lovely spots and great scenery on that coast Looks a fabulous site in a wonderful setting near the bay and it looks spotlessly clean and has a good range of facilities and things to see close by loved the look of the sandpiper food looked great and I bet it was lovely watching the sunset can see why you reversed the van onto that pitch! hope roxy also loved her break away! Hiya David Rachel and Roxy. Thanks for showing us this beautiful little place. The site was immaculate especially the shower facilities. We've heard of Powfoot it's only over the solway but we've never been passed by on the A75 plenty of times going to Southernness for a day out now and agen. I bet the weather's full on in the winter time. Next sunny day we get I think we'll Tek a trip there in our Leccy car. On Google Earth the height barrier is still on that car park you mentioned. Hi Malcolm you can almost see my dads from the site! It is a truly beautiful place as you can tell by Roxy waking me up to go on the beach while it was still dark - the tinker! I think your elecky car will make it that far 😂😂 You can go in the cafe without staying on site too If you see the tomatoe man before me give him a cuddle from me xx 💗💗 Rachel & David 💗💗

A nice looking site with good views to the lakes. The shower block looked really nice. The Sandpiper looked nice and even better being dog friendly. Lovely walk and views. Thanks as always for sharing.

Thank you - It's a nice site, and always great when it's dog friendly - when we used to visit here, there wasn't the Sandpiper and we had to wander down to the Powfoot Hotel. Yeah the Leccy car has plenty of power for that journey we can get to Southernness and back and still have power and range left. I charge it up to 100 per cent when we come over to Helmsley and get back with 25 per cent left that's a 270 mile round trip. Malcolm
