That was poor from Wilder. He looked like he didn’t want to be in there. You could tell this man checked out. You sort of sensed his decline in the Parker fight. He’s already taken a lot of damage in his fight, made millions, won a world title. It’s hard to have that hunger after all he’s been through and achieved.
@angrysocialjusticewarrior6 ай бұрын
Something was off with Wilder From the very beginning in this fight. Even during his entrance... he had an "old man" type of walk (stiff back, leaning forward, shaky legs). And during the fight, even from the first round his legs looked shaky and his whole movement seemed like an old man starting boxing for the first time. I really hope this is not early symptoms of parkisons or some sort of neurological degradation from the beatings he experienced in the past. Come to think of it, both Wilder and Fury have never been the same ever since facing each other.

As everyone has said, never the same since Fury, not that he was one of the greats before those beatings either but definite decline. Wilder has not been the same since he fought Fury, it was them beatings that made him gun shy and vulnerable. Regarding Ngannou, it was clear to everyone that Fury did not take Ngannou seriously - he was unfit and looked like he had not trained at all. The only thing you can question Fury on is his chin which has never been the same since fighting Wilder, nonetheless how can watch Fury v Usyk and question Fury’s ability? Fury gave Usyk his toughest and most competitive fight of his career, despite what trolls online may say, many professionals thought the fight could have gone either way!

@@orangesilver4568But the version of AJ that fought Usyk was a gun shy AJ after hus loss to Ruiz with a trainer that wasn't right for him (Derrick James). Now you see him with Ben Davison, we've got an AJ 2.0 that will stop anybody, including Usyk if they face off again. This version of AJ is powerful, follows through but is also cautious enough not to rush his punches and is very composed. Also, Fury fought well but nearly got carried off the canvas and we all know that Usyk knocked out Fury but the ref was in on it, hence why he saved fury from the KO.

No point pretending Wilder was ever any better. Yes he has a big right hand, but he never fought any quality, except for 2nd Fury fight. Fury is overrated on the back of beating Wilder, but first fight he was off the couch and 3rd fight had terribly interrupted camp. Compare Wilder to Dubuois. He's lost to stars but the challenges are the making of him. Wilder was protected and didn't develop as a result. He is also very deluded. This is why he's moving around the ring like Bambi on ice in his late 30s. His power is over rated too, because quality fighters can ride with it and lessen the impact. He will also struggle to implement his power against quality because he gets his power from winging away with a terrible technique. There was no use of subtleties to fool quality opponents, and no control to be defensively responsible. If you want to see how bad his resume is up to, and including first Fury fight, then watch the playlist by Boxing Bros USA. Fair play to Wilder, I love that he got in there for his little girl, and I believe he could have been much better if his handlers took more risk with his career 10 years ago, but they didn't. Wilder should be remembered for what can happen to fighters who's managers are obsessed with the 0.
