They are so cool looking! But loud and you gotta watch your head if you’re under a flock of them 😂

In 1986, Queen Elizabeth II, the great- great granddaughter of Queen Victoria wrote a letter and had it sealed in the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney. The letter is addressed to the people of Sydney and cannot be opened before the year 2085 by the then to be Lord Mayor of Sydney. The only person who knows the contents of the letter is Queen Elizabeth II who is now deceased.

Those turkeys you see are called bush turkeys. Black and white birds are Magpies. In spring some males defend their areas when there's chicks there by swooping and chasing people away. Very clever and friendly birds .

Thank you! Did not know about the bush turkeys but we actually saw signs warning people about the Magpies in springtime! We love the way they sound.
