How did you know when one of those trains was coming?

Most of the time I would wait for them near the mill then chase the train out into the cane fields and then film another one on the way back ,thanks for the comment .

No name as far as I know , it crosses the Haughton River

They vary a lot depending on the loaded bins they pick up but some can be quite long and all are non braked except for the loco and remote braking wagon if attached

@@johnphillips592 yes a load of draging cane we had to jump over each truck to make sure the cable was tight 120 trucks we only had spot lights to see tail truck with an alum disk firer man thats me harrican lanten for night work 1 night i was out waving to driver to stop he didn't my blood light was out ha ha we had the 1st prang of season & the last we had hanging over & in the Burdekin river that was a good'n moremif you want it ok . John is Clare still operating that was a good life Hoo Roo for now
