Geoff Tate is one of the best metal singers ever, great choice

Geoff Tate had the greatest voice I’ve ever heard. He is 60 years old now and his voice isn’t the same but back in his prime there was no one better.

At 60 you would be hard pressed to find any singer capable of what they were able to do in their mid 20's. Geoff hurt his voice by singing this way for so long. It's amazing that Geoff could reach that E-5 to begin with. Geoff is still an amazing talent even at 60.

I love all reaction videos today of this song . I had a reaction 38 years ago that forever changed my life . My friend told me back in 1984 that Queensryche was playing Hammerjacks in Baltimore . 5 dollars at The door and got a seat on a surrounding bar overlooking the stage .I felt like Queensryche was my band that night . The whole night . Queensryche kept on looking at me . They saw I was absolutely having the time of my life. . Then it happened .. Geoff climbed up to me during this song lead break and took my hand !! . Stayed with me !! . I will never forget . I still recall in brilliant clarity that night . I remember a worried look on Chris DeGarmos face when he was playing the lead . " Don't push our singer off " . .. I will say . I have seen many bands in the 80s live . The entire band was perfect and Geoffs singing .. Was Perfect !! . This video was shot a month before or after I saw them . Perfect

*This is one of their really great early songs. I started listening to them when they first began. Another really great early song is "Queen of the Reich."
