Queenstown New Zealand has been transformed to a winter wonderland with first major snowfall of 2021 blanketing the mountains. The Remarkables and Coronet Ski Fields all opened with excellent snow on top, finally winter is coming:)

Hi there, you don't need the chain if you drive in the cities. But pls do carry chains all the time in winter if driving in south island. If you go to ski field or some mountains, snow chain must be carried and you may need it if weather changed. Please check the mountain report before you go. Safe driving:)

Used to be so beautiful, now it looks like a rich man’s trailer park. Thanks QT city council for destroying all this natural beauty with hideous unimaginative architecture and blanket housing ☹️
