Queenstown is in my back yard. There are many beautiful places in the south island. Plus we are pretty friendly, especially on the west coast...No wars, no guns, no pollution, no hurry. PS. Bring lots of money, it is expensive to live here..especially Queenstown...Safe travels.

+Gerard Brien It's a shame you didn't get to spend lockdown here bro. We tackled the pandemic like a BOSS and now it truly is a relative safe haven, paradise on earth. I really feel sorry for those that can't return, or travel here. If the citizens had it our way, most of us would be very accommodating and welcoming towards those that are essentially refugees. So long as you self isolate at our borders for a fortnight, we'd most likely welcome thousands of foreigners in (trust me, it would be worth the wait). Unfortunately, our government currently won't allow it.

Spent 10 days in Queenstown, bunjee jumped, did the 3 day Routeburn track, Milford Sound, Lord of the Rings tour, multiple other hikes, absolutely loved it. New Zealand is the most beautiful country in the world with such friendly people

I've been to a lot of places in this world. Absolutely loved just about all of them for their own reasons. However, Queenstown is probably the most memorable for me. I only got to spend about 4 days in total there when I went, but those were the most enjoyable 4 consecutive days of my life. Seriously, if you get the chance to go to this place- and just New Zealand in general- do NOT pass it up! It will gift you with stories to tell for the rest of your life.

I love Queenstown. Gondola ride. Milford sound ,Pleasure of Lake , Fruckston , Arrowtown, etc. I love Novotel lake view room & prefers to stay in it. 😊

I’m blessed to live in Queenstown. I can actually watch Lord of the Rings in my living room, and look out my living room window and see actual locations where they shot the movies! It’s exactly like you see in this video. I love watching the colours of the mountains change throughout the day as the sun sets.

I visited Queenstown 2 years back it is the heart and jewel of New Zealand and the very essence of what it is to be kiwi. The weather, the avid scenery, the local eateries like Fergburger and the never ending list of adventure sports. For the LOTR fans out there a place called Glenorchy roughly 30-40 km from Queenstown is where a lot of the famous movie scenes were shot. My sister lives in New Zealand and i will definitely keep on coming back for more and who knows might even settle down there!

We were there last week. One of the best place what i have ever seen. City and the mountains are unforgettable. Remarkable ski fields are perfect for the beginners to the pro. Everybody can enjoy it. I love this place

I went to NZ at the end of 2019 before the pandemic really changed the world, queenstown was a beautiful place, I didn’t even do any of the adrenaline advertised stuff and it was one of my favorite places I visited. I was there for about 2 weeks. Queenstown was one of the most beautiful towns I’ve been to and a great place to stay before heading further south to places like Milford sound

Hey, born and bred Queenstowner here. Queenstown truly is a magical place. If you like walking, I would suggest going to pipeline in Arrowtown or to walk to Macetown. Also, If you go to Lake Hayes, Be careful as we've being having problems with the water in the lake :D

I visited Queenstown in OCT 2018, we did the shotover jet boat, we did the Nevis swing and we also took a helicopter flight over the remarkables, we flew over several Lord of the rings film locations. This place is the most amazing place I have ever been to. I will return and fly into Queenstown airport. Everyone should make this the one place to visit, awesome. Im 51 so its not just for the young.

Milford sound (once in life time u felt like in paradise) 2.city 3.wallter peak 4.wanaka 5.arrow town.and stop to lake hayes 6.drive to christchurch 5 hour (can go with bus) on the way you see lake pukaki . Mount cook. Lake tekapo ..truly breathtaking view
