How hard & expensive was it to bring the bikes? Yeah we totally agree, we had NO idea that track and side of the road had anything interesting to see

@@DanegerAndStacey Well..as we were coming over for 3 months - we treated ourselves to a business class flight (which was something else, I have to say!) so we could bring over 2 pieces of luggage each so we packed up the bike as one of those - so that part was fine. But as they were e-bikes - you can't bring the battery, so I randomly emailed lots of bike shops in Auckland and asked if I could "rent" a battery for our stay and one shop agreed...so that was a total result! We are now in the early stages of preparing to come NZ permanently ....hopefully late next year if everything works out..eeek! p.s really love your videos...

What were your thoughts on this experience compared to the one you guys did in Marlborough? Trying to pick one for our upcoming trip!

This one's much more organised! Marlborough is a casual self guided, but you do end up on roads n stuff which isn't for everyone, of course the wine is great though. This ones more care free and the vineyards are much closer + the views are much better. Short answer, do Gibbston!

Yeah you could easily do it on a non-electric bike if you're comfortable with a bit of peddling - all pretty flat!

This was March / April - chilly, not really snowwy, but still sunshine. It's a good time to go but Queenstown really is its best in the snow (June onwards)
