If you're still taking questions, can you explain what thermal quenching means. Also are static and dynamic quenching mechanisms similar for both fluorescence and phosphorescence. Also is collisional quenching seperate from thermal quenching

What is stern volmer plot?

The stern Volmer plot is the plot which appears on the dynamic quenching slide which appears at around 3min 40. The equation of this plot is on the left hand side of the slide. The stern Volmer plot is used to determine the rate of diffusion controlled quenching which can be determined from the gradient.
