Quentin Grimes Highlights - Traded to the Dallas Mavericks!

The Dallas Mavericks have traded Tim Hardaway Jr. and 3 future second round draft picks to the Detroit Pistons for Quentin Grimes. I can't wait to see him in blue. The two way sharpshooter should provide a nice boost off the bench.

Well this trade was about being able to offer DJJ the full midlevel excemption. Anything Grimes offers is a nice bonus, should DJJ resign. Otherwise there is a spot for a 3-D small forward open.

No. Jaden Hardy will take over THJ's role. This trade makes Josh Green expandable.

Timmy had no minutes. His inconsistency made him unreliable. Inconsistency does not mean he can not score it just we want to win rings. Not just random games or greatness.

And Luka has been on the league since 2019 and this was the first time he had some role players to help him. What's with the josh green comparisons? I do not see it. He is much more confident drives better to the rim and even finishes well with contact. Looks a more confident shooter and is a significantly better defender. Only similarity in their games is they play fast.

Good defence. Got the catch and release 3. Can score through traffic. I like this pickup. Looks like he had some knee troubke this past season. So stay healthy and he seems like he will flourish taking those hardaway mins.

Glad to see Nico making this finals team better for next season. Tim was good at times but he had nothing for us when it mattered. Grimes fits the mold for what works on this team. He's 3 and D but can dribble and get to the rim which we need desperately

@@onlyfacts3178 he's a 43% fg shooter for his career and 37% from 3 (those are better than Tim's career avg). He's also only 24 and he's a good defender. Tim wasn't giving the team anything beneficial after the trade deadline so yes I think Grimes could be a better 7th or 8th guy on the team to give more depth

In his two firt seasons, he averaged 38% from 3s. That´s good. And he is far better defender than THJ (how didn't defend). And much younger, with an age that brings him possibilities to improve. And now we have money to offer to DDJ. So it's a good move. Of course, there are 3 second rounds... It has not been very cheap, but that's the price of moving the big salary of THJ. And now we have Kleber and Josh Green to aquire Jeramy Grant, who could be the man we need to improve the team offensively. Althougt we'll have to give the two first picks we have left. But we will have a very solid roster.

Also seems good even out of the corner. That was one of the reasons Dallas lost in the finals was because Boston didn't let Dallas have the corner three, but was willing to give up all the others, Dallas couldn't connect on them.

Nice addition I see more production from Grimes over THJ. This is a good trade, he'll give us some defense as well. Overall this was a good player swap. Also we were able to keep the rest of our players. A few 2nd rounders and THJ for Grimes is a good deal. He should fit well nice deal Nico! #MFFL
