I was feeling nostalgia for Quest for Glory II, so I made an epic cinematic style cover of "Battle with Khaveen", which, IMO, is the best variant of the QFG battle theme. I also think it's the second best music from the entire Quest for Glory soundtrack (the first is, naturally, "Erana's Peace"). I tried to remain truthful to the original version, while adding my own personal touch to it.
I played the Quest for Glory series as a kid in the early nineties, starting with Hero's Quest (Quest for Glory 1 EGA version). I played parts 1 to 4 (never got to the play part 5), but I liked QFG1 and QFG2 the best. Enjoyed the most playing it as a thief (with magic using abilities) or as a fighter/paladin.

I created this instrumental cover purely as fan art. The original composer of this tune AFAIK is Mark Seibert, along with Chris Brayman and Tom Lewandowski.
The DAW I use is Reaper. I've used various epic instrument libraries, with strong emphasis on brass instruments (trumpets, trombones, tubas), epic violins, cellos and percussion instruments, to give it an orchestral movie trailer / "Two Steps from Hell" style feeling.
