It's an interesting style of play to be sure. Feels like a lot of what the Computers do by saturating the field with heroes and spreading the army about. Not my style, I don't think it maximizes certain efficiencies, but interesting.

Man a feature where you could remove a piece of terrain for 10,000 gold or something looks pretty tempting with that massive mountain range in the way. You know, if dimension door didn't exist

Or if Remove Obstacle worked outside of combat, or as a level 5 spell... maybe something for HotA devs to consider

@@BAMGM Man I feel pretty stupid for not thinking of remove obstacle. I guess the main problem is it brings up the whole headache of bypassing guards, so maybe you could only remove obstacles if the area revealed was already accessible from where you cast the spell

@@KyriosHeptagrammaton Pretty sure that most of the time the guarded object is directly next to the stacks, so it would activate the fight either way. (Cause they have a 3x3 "guarding aura" or whatever its called) But yea sometimes it could be a bit of a cheese, but hey, make it expensive, bam. It's not like you can't use fly to cheese them already, so I don't think it's that big of a problem anyway

I just played a generated map with a portal of glory close to my castle. I ended the game with x2 25 angel packs. (nothing to brag about I know, but was quite fun). Easy win.

When your hero attack random units, whenever they say they will flee, they would have propose to join you if you had a stack empty and with diplomacy skills. You would have grown like a snowball using this approach.

Yup it's mostly experience. Golems, elementals and undead don't get morale as they aren't alive (no emotions I guess)

Yo, Norov, which version of Heroes 3 should I buy now? Like which one is the best, most complete, latest version... ? I see there is HD edition on steam and "complete edition" on GOG....

If you're looking for the complete HoMM 3 game, don't bother with the HD edition on Steam. It's vanilla-only, no expansions. The complete version is the one on Gog, so both expansions are included. Also, I think the mods such as the HD mod and HotA only work with the Gog version.

Some maps are much easier than others, start at lower difficulties and build from there. I have a tips video that might help with some things
