Quest For The Stanley Cup Episode 2 (2019)

Episode two takes viewers inside the finales of the four Second Round series: Boston Bruins-Columbus Blue Jackets, Carolina Hurricanes-New York Islanders, St. Louis Blues-Dallas Stars and San Jose Sharks-Colorado Avalanche.
The episode opens with Hurricanes defenseman Jaccob Slavin at home with his wife, Kylie, their infant daughter and their two dogs before he heads to PNC Arena in Raleigh for Game 4 against the Islanders. The Hurricanes then complete a sweep of the Islanders with a 5-2 win to advance to the Eastern Conference Final.
The cameras follow Bruins forward and Dublin, Ohio, native Sean Kuraly as he discusses playing youth hockey in the Blue Jackets’ practice rink and rooting for his hometown team while walking to Nationwide Arena in Columbus for Game 6. The Bruins then defeat the Blue Jackets to also advance to the Eastern Conference Final.
The episode turns to Denver for Game 6 between the Avalanche and Sharks, a thrilling overtime win for Colorado. Viewers are treated to an inside look at the Blues’ double-overtime win in Game 7 of the other Western Conference series before the episode wraps with the Sharks’ Game 7 victory, highlighted by the return of captain Joe Pavelski.

I was one of the Carolina haters with their celebrations but I honestly have to bite my words and apologize. They are the underdogs and swept 2 rounds back to back. I like most of the players on the team and if the celebrations helped cause this that’s amazing. Not to jump on the bandwagon but I’m cheering for them this post season.

Re: the NHL's Top 50 goals of all time. I watched it an with the exception of 1 goal from the 50's, It's really the top goals since 1988. A Joke. The 70's ? best decade of pure hockey...not one mention if memory serves.

This was really cool to watch, but man I wish there was less of Mike Emrick... my opinion, he has some of the worst play by play calls and having to hear him in NHL video games just cringes me over and over... "For the last one hundred years the game of hockey has been played with three periods, we've just completed two... back after this." Bleh.
