Ok no tompouce beer. I think you didn’t miss anything 😀 Is it common to pronounce ‘douwe’ as ‘doei’?

Still I’d have loved to try. But it can’t be helped. Unless, out of the blue, someone offers to send over a can or two from their secret stash LOL. As far as Douwe (Egberts) is concerned, that’s the way they pronounce their name towards English speakers (I guess to prevent the need to spell it - upon hearing Douwe a native English speaker would hear 'Dow' supposedly) so I just copied that.
