I read on the Quest forum on Facebook that you can use the small coil from the Quest X10 Pro on the Q30. Try it out and let us know if that is the case! It would be appreciated! The X10 is still an excellent detector for the price.

It certainly is! I absolutely love it and it will always be a love of mine!! Yes I had heard that too and was excited to try it out, so I'll definitely pop a video up of the test as soon as its back 😁👍

I just recently got the Q30+ as a back up to my nox800. I'm impressed with the build quality so far considering what some people have said about it. just playing around with the controls in the house, when I put it down on the floor, "RAISE COIL" flashes up on the screen. is this due to Coil overload with the target being so close to the coil? looking forward to running it out in the field 🙂👍

Ayyyyy nice one!! I've just got the Nox 800, so snap!! 🤣 I'd expect it is overload buddy, I can't say I've had the same message personally but its either that or ground balancing I'd expect! It's a great machine for the money and definitely a good back up, I was out testing the Nox yesterday and I made so many mistakes. The Q30 is click and go which is really nice

You will lose a little depth by using Park Mode , use Field and set Exclude ID to 18 . Set Tones to 3 and Sensitivity to about 83 and set FESENS ( iron volume ) to either 1 or 0 whichever you prefer .

@@bigfootfinding7019 It would be better if you could use 2 tones because then you would have a low tone for iron and the high tone for the good stuff , alas field mode only lets you use 3 tones ( low mid and high ) which is the next best . Top tip - Iron comes in at around 18 on the vdi so if you get a mixed signal and it sound like the target may be good ( like with large iron ) if you put it in park mode and then the signal disappears you know it's iron , you can then go back into field and carry on . Also one recommendation for your videos please tell us the vdi numbers for your targets as it helps newcomers :)

Looks like a capable detector. May the odds be in your favor. 😃👍 Thanks for the tone demo. Also any detector will squeal & squawk over that shovel (it looks to have overload alert as well). Btw: I'm that blue weirdo dude commenting previously fyi.
