On this quest and an old friend and I , hike from Mt. Saint Helena to Table rock along a part of the Napa Palisades Trail, a beautiful geologic wonderland at the far north end of the San Fransisco Bay Area. Table Rock is the highest cliff face of the feature that is known as the Palisades.

Wow! That geocache was stuffed full of thing! I have never seen one with so much in it! Thats how mant people have found and put something in it to signify that they were there. Incredible! What a beautiful hike! Boy i miss having the ability to hike and roam! I could walk and hike for miles and miles! As long as i was by myself, and novody was there to slow me down or stop me. My only limitations were my own! And that is just a beautiful fabulous area! Its just wonderful! So how many miles did you hike that day!all those lake xo diamonds that you spread all over the place for people to find! I can just see it, somebody that hasnt seen your video, finding them and making a minerology report of lake co diamonds in that area and only ever finding the few you brought and stashed all overthat park! Priceless! Lol! It is so beautiful! That is a eeally challenging hike! But so gorgeous and there is just so many different areas and ways that you can go! And the napa valley has some of the most perfect weather for it! Thank you for taking us on that gorgeous scenic wonderland of a hike, and for the fun of knowing that your diamonds are stashed in there, all over the place, just waiting for somebody physically fit enough to find them all, because the ones you stashed early on, will be the easiest and the closest to the start, those last ones are going to take someone who is determined and willing to hike, to find! But oh boy are they worth looking for and is this veautiful area worth hiking! And this place doeat have hiking trails. Its all one big hike! So good luck! But beautiful hike! Good luck and thank you Nate! That was wonderful! Its wonderful that because of people like you, i can vurtually hike again. I havent been able to hike in almost 8 years. I xan barely walk 10 feet since my stroke. But i get virtual exersise because of peopke like you. It raises my pulse rate and my breathing and i feel like im getting ar least a healthy cardio workout, without the physical pain to my body! So thank you so much for that! Its wonderful!

so glad to be able to share with you,.... the algorithms are ever demanding shorter and shorter videos for success, but that goes agains the time it takes to gather the details and relate them properly... so I just decide sometimes ,not to worry about the time limits, and how many people will watch all the way. I figure that the emersion in the experience for those who will truly enjoy a longer length more detailed experience vicariously , is worth it, I love to watch longer vids myself and always want more of the good stuff, I watch things sometimes just to see the landscapes ill never see any other way. its a incredible age in time to be able to see so much and share so much, so I try to edit and not bore, but some times the things im seeing demand to be filmed, demand to share their intricacies and I just try to relate it in as complete form as I can while still trying to keep it moving and entertaining, to know im helping you enjoy this beautiful planet, is my privilege for sure. delighted to be able. thank you for questing with me.

@@QuestForDetails Since I live 5 miles from Mt D entrance on the Clayton side, I always love seeing it. I finally joined a Lap club in Antioch. So much fun slicing rocks and practicing making Cabs. Waiting for the water to go down a bit more and I am determined to pan for gold in the park below an old gold mine. Hands and pans only in the park.

I remember the video of this hike from a few years back. It was foggy and drizzling for parts of the hike, and it was before the fire. Tho still very beautiful, the difference is remarkable. A different kind of beauty now. Was it ever determined who originally created the circles and spirals? It seems very mystical and magical! Thanks for lettin' me tag along!

so much has changed in all things and all the land, and the circles have only grown stronger, someday the archeologist will have an elaborate theory for the random artistic fractal thats occurring im sure, about religions that danced there in the moonlight, and who knows ive never stayed after dark to see ... defiantly wouldn't be surprised if its quite a busy place when we all leave. : )

Love the minimal use of music..get to hear the wind and rocks. And indeed, the fires have exposed so much mineralogy I just don't buy the geologic narrative, and I have a B S. In soil science...hmmm B.S.??? With new eyes I now see the rocks as a bunch of petrified bodies. Giants, apes, dragons, elephants, etc Dragon backs and scales have obvious shapes and they are everywhere in this video. The texture of many of the rocks reveal a bumpy crocodile type skin. Think about it, I think it is a real phenomenon of how the earth was formed

Nagas, and Hanuman...Hindu serpent and monkey dieties were there. And they are likely from Lemuria...the folk that created minerals from the ethereal...the ones that manifested mountains...the Amaru-kahns/americans...the serpent kings
