The Greek manuscripts of Colossians 2:2 doesn’t have “and of the Father, and of Christ” it is “mystery of God, Christ” it is an addition in KJV. Why is that? What should we make of it? (Please answer)

I am wondering. According to 2 Thessalonians 2:7, is the mystery of iniquity in progress since it started or is it being totally and completely hindered from working at all until after the rapture?

Based on 2Th 2:7, it is already at work.

@@ColumbusBibleChurch Does that mean that the mystery of iniquity is preparing the man of sin now but this man of sin is prevented or hindered from being revealed by our presence but it doesn’t mean that prophecies are being fulfilled because the mystery of iniquity is working?

The man of sin is held back from being revealed because the prophetic timetable was put on hold by the dispensation of grace. There are no prophesies from the OT being fulfilled today. The mystery of iniquity is Satan's efforts during the dispensation of grace to prepare for the coming of the man of sin that happens after the dispensation of grace ends. Hope this helps.

@turkwelsch There is spiritual equality between Jew and Gentile in the body of Christ, but obviously people remain Jew and Gentile just as they remain male and female in the body of Christ (Gal 3:28, Col 3:11). Grace.
