Nice analogies to movies regarding the Q&A approach

Thanks, I felt it was good way to describe it.

Awesome video. Well explained. I knew about the question answer concept.. but get lost in the details and loose focus as I now see it (after watching this video) as the main movie character interacting with other characters. I never thought of it like that.

I always find it helpful to see things with analogies. :)

Geiler Track. The fantastic thing about many psytrance subgenres. You can have as much as your talent let it be. Call and answers in a track.

Yes, much more space to bring cool elements. I was earlier a lot into techno but now I find it quite static and boring compared to Psy. Just my personal opinion it has it's depth in other expressions...

@@Psiger Yes Techno is much less, but what you bring, must total nail it. Techniquely the music is same like all electronic does. You have to know, how to make a clear and banging sound. But to compare techn, in the way of composition with Psytrance, its like compareing german schlager🤢🤮🤮🤮 or edm 🤢🤮 with writing a symphony for the BBC orchestra

@@Psiger omg thx! example: All in One - Black or All in One The Last Mohican or All in One Beatbox. You would be my king when you describe how the MIDIs are set and how to make the Basspatches. Would like to know how to make that sawpatch too. Thanks!!!

I have a doubt. A lead [protagonist] do I put him in mono or stereo in the mix? I have this doubt!!
@Psiger2 жыл бұрын
My riffs and main melodies are stereo but they need to have enough energy in the center to not lose the power in the mix. Download the span analyzer and you can set the routing to mid/side and then look in one of your favorite tracks how much energy is in the mids and how much in the sides. If I have multiple elements I usually look for diversity (I made a video about balance where I explain that). What I don't do is pan my leads. The stereo usually comes from the LFOs modulating the panning in the synth, ping pong delays, etc. Or in other words, I don't tend to have them static on one side.

@@Psiger thanks bro!! It's that energy in the center that I miss when I leave the main leads in stereo. maybe more saturation will solve this? thanks for clearing my doubts!! I love your content!!

Check out there is a free plugin from Voxengo MSED with that you can balance the energy in mids/sides. But the best is if you go through the whole chain. E.g in the synth there are many things which can influence it. Just have the span open and compare how diff settings e.g unison, delays, panning... Influence the ratio between mid and side signal. You can also use an EQ with mid/side to balance it a bit better.
