Question: How Do You Deal with Death Threats on Facebook?

Came to this video immediately after getting my first death threat on Facebook. After hours of panicking and worrying, this gave me my first true sigh of relief, realizing how much nonsense his threat was... Though ironically enough: dude who is threatening me is from Baltimore.

Nope. Had all his hair till the day he died. Mid 80's. WWII Vet, blowed up by a grenade taking two germans hostage. Still had a lot shrapnel in him. Purple Heart and Bronze Star medals.

I got a threat from someone ( who's profile had no viable information in it ) he basically posted a bounty on my head for a large amount of money and said either his cousins or his brother in-law ( who he claims happens to be a member of a biker gang) and that they are gonna cut me into little pieces and feed me to their pirahanna. I can't leave the house without a near panic attack. After some investigation I found out his real name and and location. So if anything happens I at least have that. He's from Boston.

Jerrell Lawrence Think about your past actions second if you are the type of Guy to go to the cops then go. I have been getting death threats for over a year now and Every single time I tell them my location and till this day nothing happend. Most people who legit want to do something bad towards you they Will not warh you first. People who keep om threatening you are ussualy really stupid or bluffing but it’s most of the time both.

It's been over two months since I received very graphic death threats from a stranger online over some dumb political arguments. Nothing has happened yet except my paranoia and anxiety have gotten super bad. It's a daily thing I've been having to work towards finding my peace of mind.

I'm 33 I received death threats for 3 months last year then they did it again n June for 1-2 days I had the number I just block unknown numbers. this person "claims" to know me. i was told it was a scam

My friend reported threats to FBI back in may via mail, threats were being sent to her work email and used to know this person and she sent all screen captures with her report, its been 7 months and fbi didn't reply. Does that mean police are not going to deal with it?

I had a death threat by a manager for tractor supply, and he got my home address my stealing my gf’s phone(she works there) and going to her maps since we share our location. He then said I’m going to put you in the hospital to me, imma kill your family and told me “im going to come to your house and blast your mom in the face” Now I took this threat seriously, in this society, death threats aren’t to be joked about. And he even said to my gf, “i might use you as revenge by fucking you forcefully” So I went to my local Police department and filed a report, this man is black btw, and has a kid. I filed it after a situation that happened at my work. I do landscaping and a guy in a white car came and parked and he got out, walked around me, whilst eye balling me and started walking towards me until he saw I was carrying a knife on my side and open carrying a handgun. He got back in his car, and left. I told the police and they said if this continues he will be arrested. Some people out there will do anything for scare you. So he sent a buddy to scare me, made me on edge. But I am a nephew of a FBI agent, retired DEA agent, and a NSA agent (all of which are my cousins) and they didn’t like it so much about his threats. They gave me a call and I found out this man we’ll call him wannabegangbanger, lost his child because of the activities he was plotting, the environmental state of that child’s being, and he also lost his job. I did confront him before all of this and he flashed me a firearm(hence for me open carrying at my job)

You make sense but it doesn't match the scenario. Law enforcement won't do anything not unless they show up to the door and by that time it's too late! The threat at the door will be eliminated immediately! The person sends in tickets that are lies pertaining to Death threats and Racism placing the victim as the attacker?!

Someone threatening me online on Facebook over bulshit I didn't do I know who the person is you're not threatening me anymore cuz I blocked them but they are telling other people that I'm going to get bodily harm and hostage killed what can I do about it I am disabled and then in this person knows it but the threats have been continuing for over a year now

Only thing. Don’t call 911. Find the number to your local police precinct or sheriff office. 911 is for immediate emergency life threatening conditions.
