Question 1:
Is Alison legit and are their certificates good quality?
I know there are lot of Free Online Courses but Alison Free Online Courses are the most famous.

Translation for everyone who doesn't have patience: 1. Someone asked him is an Alison Certificate worth it? 2. He starts talking about his watch for some reason. Guess he was trying to make a point. It cost him cheaper than it's now currently selling for. So, I suppose his point is the certificate is an investment. 3. In the end, the certificate shows you are willing to learn, as he states. So, if you're trying hard for a career instead of places like McDonald's... It's always good to have that extra skill/certificate/pro in your resume'. Final Thought: If you want to do some courses and learn, awesome. Best of luck to you all. However, Patience and Understanding go a very long way in many many many careers. So, you might all want to stop being rude and try listening to him. He's speaking English. And his accent is his accent.

The programs are really more geared to business owners or self employed. Who need some insite of business experience if they dont have the education. Some of these programs are training modules done for businesses. You can say on your resume, that you have done a Microsoft training course. Sounds better than, taking the alison course. Think of creative ways to present this type learning on your resume.

I did it .I m from Canada. I have some university degree and it s helpful for the job market because you can have some update in your resume .But in reality when you go sometimes in University sometimes you wasting your time and paid an amount of money for some teachers are not very good to teach …If I see your logical opinion the job market it s constantly changing but he does t me you don t need sometimes to get some knowledge .For me I think sometimes to have some update in your resume it s can be good for the employer they can see you get more knowledge. It s my point of view an actually now the price are more cheaper .

By the look of the comment sections, I feel like people are taking Alison courses as their main education background. For me, Alison is just an add on to build up your resume and I've been thinking of registering since it'd be nice to get more certs before I start working. So is it worth it in that sense?

It's def a good refresher course to take and add on to your portfolio but finding a apprenticeship will be tons better. Getting hands on experience is more valuable.

I just accomplished I course and it's worth it. I found informations that is of great value and which I took months and months to get them. It's a very good price for being educated I'm going to get a diploma. Professors are vere good and skilled Thanks for the opportunity

Finish the course and pass the exam. Refer 3 friends and "make" them finish at least 1 course(just watch the slides/videos and pass the assessment test) then you will receive the code for getting your digital certificate for free.

@@emmakirby5271 start any course, and refer 3 people to alison courses with your code. Make them do a course, even if the smallest one which can be finished in 20 minutes. Once 3 of them finished the course, you will be able to redeem your digial certificate for free. Mind you, this certificate doesn't have much value tbh.

Dude its not! Alot of place give free courses but you still have to pay something. They companies need some sort of profit to run......I got my CNA license free but for finger print, CPR plus other stuff it ran me almost $800.(including the state board , back ground checks etc,.) Nothing in life is free.....do the courses that you ur own boss and you won't have an issue....what few dollars...if the paperwork will benefit you?
