Question of the Week: 3 | Your Pet Peeves

After a month haitus (mostly triggered by technical difficulties and June in general having it out for me) We are back with Question of the Week!

I have two for you! 1) Back when I was in school, my mom and I had run a few errands. When we got home we noticed that our car at the time smelled very bad. It was a burning smell and we were very concerned! We drove around after and eventually the smell subsided, but it would pop back up from time to time. We called it the phantom smell… One day I happened to lose something under the car. When I went to get it I finally saw where the smell came from. Apparently a random plastic shopping bag had not only stuck under the car, but it melted and adhered itself to the underside of my car. Nearly two decades later I still have to look back in my rearview mirror to be sure that the bag passed safely under my car…. 2) Years ago I had bought an air fryer. I didn’t really know where to keep it. I put it on my stovetop in between burners so that I could plug it in easily behind the stove. One day I had brought groceries in and had to move it so that I could fit the groceries on the counter. I was going to use the stove top as space as well. I had gone outside to grab more groceries and when I walked back into the kitchen I noticed a smell… apparently I had moved the air frier just enough that it turned the burner on for my stove. I literally was cooking my air frier. I had turned it off in enough time to not cause a fire, but I melted the bottom off the air frier and it was extra fun to clean up the mess on the stovetop. Funnily enough when I shared this stupid thing I did with a friend, they too had done the same thing just after I did… not only once but twice… apparently cooking your air fryer is a thing!

So, I played Dark Souls for the first time a few months ago, and there was this one time where I was in a sewer filled with giant rats. I was doing really well. I explored most of the area, and I was ready to fight the boss... And then I fell down a hole while looking for a bonfire, got cursed by a basilisk, and lost 8000 souls. After dying trying to get them back, I found out there's a merchant who could break the curse. Several frustrating deaths later, after I finally reached the merchant, I mistook him for an enemy and attacked him. 'Cause what else would I do? He turned against me and killed me, and after making my way back to him, I found out that he was permanently against me, and I had no choice but to kill him. Then I found out there's another merchant who could break the curse for a steeper price, which wasn't a problem 'cause I had managed to earn 9000 souls. So I started heading for the other merchant, and guess what? I fell off a roof and lost all my souls. I think I started laughing at that point. It's actually hilarious just how badly I managed to screw myself over. XD

My mom lied! She said those were my Pet peeves, But she tricked me! It was her just to expose me! I never understood what Pet peeves are until now! XD Well... I would say I don't have any biggest FML moments.... But ONE thing just so happened to exist a long time since my internet journey, and YOU know that very well... MY INTERNET This would fit my Pet peeves NGL, But this is BEYOND THE LEVEL OF THAT... My internet tortured me SO MANY TIMES when I wanted to join someone's streaming Movies/Episodes I wanted to watch! or hanging out with friends... IT NEVER LET ME WATCH A N Y T H I N G, Unless it's please to do so... I HATE THAT STUPID SQUARE SHAPE THAT DECIDE WHEN I SHOULD USE IT OR WHEN I SHOULD NOT!! That...THING.... made me hate my life...a bit.... when I had it around it. That thing is not an Internet, Is a Pure evil Toaster disguised as an Internet!! ....I think I went a little bit crazy here... I am fully calmed down. Thankfully, that beast is obliterated and has been replaced with... Normal potato Internet. You want to know my FML moment so here it is, thank you for reading!
