A question tag is a mini-question following a statement and is considered as a special construction in English. Generally, it is used for asking confirmation.
Question tags are mostly used while speaking than writing. We use them to make a statement a question. This is used mainly with a motive of expecting a listener to agree with our statement. We have explained this topic of English grammar with some suitable examples along with some essential rules. The basic rule in Question tags is using positive tags in negative statement and vice versa.
