The simplest question is that if anyone has any issues with the teachings of the holy ahlulbayt (a s), why call yourself a Shi'a and at the same time carry on criticising its teachings? Why don't you convert to whatever you want to and stop calling yourself a Shi'a? It seems the Al Islah Jamat have hit some kind of jackpot of knowledge, information and guidance on Islam in general and the school of the holy ahlulbayt (a s). It seems we now have a new prophet and new Imams to reform Islam. What we've been told about Allah (swt), the holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his holy progeny), his ahlulbayt, the books of ahadith, history and so on are all wrong and Al Islah has the most authentic version of all that. Whatever our grand scholars, ulamas and marajeys have said or written for centuries is all rubbish (God forbid) and worthless. It is but obvious that to make people believe that their own version of Deen is authentic, they have to somehow prove the rest is fake and unauthentic. Be careful about the source of your knowledge, information, understanding and guidance on religious matters.

@@zak-thepracticalpriest6505 The question is what does Islam tell us about religious scholars? The answer is we should respect all religious scholars even if they are non-Muslims. The problem is that we have our own prejudices. To disagree with a religious scholar's view that person should be an expert in that subject and also have close contact with that scholar so that ideas can be exchanged and disagreements resolved. But no, no one wants to do this as preference is given to backbiting which is prohibited in Islam.

@@zak-thepracticalpriest6505 In Islam, scholars, or ʿulamāʾ, are considered heirs to the Prophet and play a vital role in guiding Muslims. They are responsible for facilitating the spiritual lives of Muslims 1. By providing guidance on how to adhere to the Qur'an and Sunnah 2. Providing the legal, spiritual, and normative basis for major institutions in Muslim societies 3. Acting as guardians, transmitters, and interpreters of religious knowledge 4. According to a Hadith, Allah, his angels, the inhabitants of the heavens and earth, the ant in its hole, and the fish send blessings upon those who teach people what is good.
