Great vid. You're really only considering the American events though, it's a global game and there are many events through June/July in other parts of the world. I doubt Bandai are trying to time any restrictions in between specific American Regionals. Personally I have a ticket for a Regionals in mid-July and I haven't even bothered to prepare a deck, hopelessly praying for some restrictions that likely won't come at all... soon I'll just have to cave in and buy some TopKu cards...

My take on getting Topku to be not broken is reworking 4 drop Kefla to have -500 combo power and doesn’t draw a card when played.

nerfs in a physical card game are dumb, my card says what it does, that shouldn't be subject to change (I agree kefla is broken, but I hate the concept of erata)

The leader should be banned or restricted in some way (like your deck can only include ToP cards) imo. A leader having such a strong ability makes it harder for good cards to be printed with the ToP tag in the future. I agree that ribrianne shouldn’t exist as a card, but removing Roshi would make every other red deck so much worse and they would be the true casualties. If they don’t make some change to the leader then we will just end up back at this point some point down the road.

Banning roshi and ribrianne isn’t the answer IMO It’s just making Kefla a 25k so topku SPECIFICALLY can’t play it off main. The rest is fine and could to good games. It’s the amount that can be built. Idk man seems straight forward.

At that point it’s just fun and strats. Put a blocker up so they cant or have to invest another energy before committing. Kefla is bad only in topku. Changing it to base 25k keeps everything as is almost but with no 7 battle card boards.

3 bodies a turn or 10 energy at 5 is ridiculous. And banning glimpse is a necessity for the game to be healthy.

For me just make TopKu ability from 1 cost and discard a card to 2 cost and 2 discard 2 card it will balance it off

I don't think Topku is really broken. Not saying it's not good, it's just that literally self-awakening early because of Gohan 3 Drop and Master Roshi is complete garbage. Those two cards are extremely overpowered for their cost imo... If they get lucky draws there is very little you can due about it. Also, Gohan adds insane board control while still keeping you on track to awaken asap Also Caulifla 2 drop crit is insanely broken. It is just a better overtuned Vegeta 2 drop crit So however you play, you are awakening extremely quickly and putting threats on the board. That is the real problem. Most the time when Topku doesn't just instarip into awakening, I can easily beat it with blue by completely locking down and controlling the board, then outdrawing Red and putting enough pressure

But thats blue. How is green and yellow supposed to deal with him as well as the other red since they arent as fast as him. Topku just ruins all other decks and forces everyone to play certain decks or just lose

i dont even care what they do, just do something. Literally 0 locals near me fire in one off the biggest cities in the country. Locals that had masters firing every week cant get fusion world to fire. If they dont do anything soon, the game will completely die.
