Re the term Calvinist: I don't consider myself a Calvinist, although others who use that term would. I first heard the term several years after I was saved, when I heard several people arguing over the terms Calvinist and Arminian, which I thought meant someone from Armenia. I hadn't heard the term Reformed either. The terms were explained to me. To me Calvinism represents what's in the bible, so I found the term Calvinist confusing and misleading and a misnomer. I'm not knocking Calvin as there is much to appreciate about his writing. But he was a man and not an inspired man.
