Whether south africans or foreigners run the spazas, if the root (manufacturer ) is not known it remains a time bomb. Product can end up in anyone's hands. Kids are very innocent and their death is very painful.

I don’t understand why regulation and hygiene control and other laws to own or sell food in the street cannot be implemented. I cannot get my head around the inability of the government .They are quick to for task team of lawyer and courts if one of their cadres are complicit in corruption .But when it comes to to their voters they talk on end until South Africa forgets about it . that has been their strategy since 1994

The question here is where do Spaza shop get their products?? That's where the problem lie..no one is looking at that because it is Indians who manufacture and own wholesale shops where we know Spaza shops stock their products. We need to get proof of where the product is manufactured, and sold to these foreigners .I know and understand it's the Indians who manufacture these snacks, and it not the Ethiopians or Spaza owners..where did investigation method bend the knee to individual and political interests.,? After all foreigners go, I will see the propaganda our politicians make you fight over without rewards of sustainability and prosperity for us.

Ousie Slekkie must go and translate for some high paid politicians in Parliament who can't speak English. She can teach them how to think aswell. She's got an incredible command of both languages. SpazaShop 30% negligent : Parents 70% negligent. The parents wasted time and should have transported the kids immediately.

The problem here is this ppl stock where Indians stock, that is still a risk. If this contemination take place at the manufacture, this might affect them. No solution to this.... Chicken and egg situation. Ho thata...

That's why I cited the manufacturers and not the spaza and street vendors earlier on because even if SA people take over spaza shops they still gonna buy in the same manufacturer the foriegn nationals stock from

The person who can solve the problem of the spaza shops in Gauteng is the Premier of the province Ntate Lesufi . The ball stop with him as he is in charge of the province. Other ministers can voice their opinion but the on charge is Ntate Lesufi. Even the president cannot do as he likes he must engage him for his opinion.

One question still remaining unanswered. The only victim is children that applies that no older people eat snacks since deaths are for children's and no person who is older? Looks more target or picky this is unfair
