Yes, I am a mom. Furthermore, the version I let her listen to is edited. She’s also 11 and I supervise what content both my kids access. As far as the interpretation, I discussed the fact that it’s about sex in general, and she knows it’s something you take seriously. There are other NIN songs that I let her hear that are much less graphic than this one.
