*** Important note*** *** Important note*** Loading a sound font to SNv4, I made a small mistake. SNv4 reads (PROFFIE) files natively (NOT) CFX-GHV3. All the steps are the same BUT use (PROFFIE) files. Drag, Drop, number folder. Then you can open up your SNv4 app (force park) and design your blade style, color and all that. Super easy!

I still remember getting one of those (cheap in comparison) cascading plastic sabers as a kid. It was the Qui-Gon style and it’s been one of my favourites since.

Never tried one, but Qui-Gon’s saber looks comfortable to hold. And it also seems like it’s what every stunt saber was based on, in terms of being thin with a single button.

Little tip about the Golden Harvest soundboards. You don't need to remove the SD card if you want to access the information in it. If you just plug the recharge port into a USB on your computer it'll read it just like a cell phone & pop up under your drives. Then you can transfer files in or out of it without having to remove the SD card. You can even fine tune any settings on it from there too.

Master Qui Gon has one of the most pristine and simplest designed lightsaber. He’s easily one of my favorite characters in Star Wars because he doesn’t believe in the hypocrisy and politics of the Jedi.

Bro thank you for mentioning the saber not being so loud thought my speaker was busted my adept saber overpowers it with sound and it’s baselit and I was very disappointed cause my Qui Gon is my first neopixal and sounds too low hasn’t been as fun to use

There's been accurate versions of this hilt for a while. I had an 89saber Qui-Gon in 2019 with deep grooves. It was my first CFX hilt when that card became available.

Pretty nice hilt set up from Vader's Sabers. I really like that the electronics are in the chassis under the emitter and is removable. I'm tempted, but I just purchased from UW their Darth Maul dual blade hilt with Proffie v2.2. Costs a bit over $700 with shipping. I have the Ultimate Works Master Q V2 hilt with proffie set up and instead of the battery and card both in a removable chassis in the emitter, only the battery is in a chassis. The board is not removable, but instead has a USB-C connector in the pommel. Sadly, only the CFX set up is still available. Also, UW is a 2 button set up, with activation via the red button and options toggle on the opposing side of the hilt. I've Proffie, SNv3 & v4, Asteria, but not had the pleasure of owning a Golden Harvest set up.

I have to say though, these are the most interesting times to be a Star Wars fan and a lightsaber collector. The tech is stunning and all the different hilts that are being made by Sabers Smiths across the World is just amazing.

No it’s rather low in volume and that may be due to all the deep cuts in the hilt not letting the sound move around

The Manufacture (TXQ) says they will no longer be offering GHv3 in favor of there own board SNv4. So as it sound once this last batch of GHv3 is gone thats it, they will no longer stock them or install them.

I haven't used Golden Harvest, but you forgot the final step when adding fonts to SN-Pixel V4. After coping the font to the SD card, you should edit the config file in the SET folder. In this case, you'd want to add the lines: Color-32=(0,255,0),2,0,300,800 Color-33=(0,255,0),2,0,300,800 Pro SN4 Tip - Be sure to input the blade extend and retraction speeds to ALL of the fonts (the last two numbers). The default config SN4 from TXQ doesn't have them, so you'll need to add the speed time to the end of each font. The higher the number, the longer it takes for the blade to move.

Yes you can do that to set it in but you can also just go to the blade the set in the color from the hilt as far as I know. Or is it better to just add it to the code? I dont use the SNv4 much at all.

@@TheCollectorsOutpost I bought my first SN4 because of your recent Kanan Jarrus video. Nobody else showed it coming apart. Editing the config to add the blade speed adds a lot of character. It only takes a few seconds to copy the extra code onto the fonts. This new hilt is gorgeous.

@badvermin yeah I get that but you can do it all in the snv4 app. I don’t see a reason to confuse everyone with that to just speed add a sound font. The Xeno is the same this. The biggest is the speed of the blade. That’s one thing I’m shocked that’s not in the app (yet) but yeah, the blade speed, that makes me mad that it’s not in the app and I forget about that all the time

So I bought this lightsaber from Vader sabers was very excited but it came out the box pretty much broken. The button seemed kinda flimsy then fell off later that night maybe that’s why it wasn’t working but very disappointed. I know it doesn’t have much to do with him but I watched his video, it was the push I needed to spend about 600 Canadian and what a mistake sending it back. If anyone wants to know or is interested I will let you know how Vader sabers reply and what happens but man. Ps if you have an update of how yours is still holding up would love to know @ the collectors outpost

Many don’t come with the sound front for the character. They are all installed with the same pack of sounds at the factory. Proffie has a set pack of sounds same for Xeno and snv4 from manufacturer and another manufacturer may have a slightly different pack of sounds. It’s just what it is!
