Thanks for the vid, I have the cx4 and it's a great runner. It just chews up everything. I was worried about the polymer hammer and a lot of people complain about it and the trigger but mine has been just fine and keeps running even after thousands of rounds. I'm not a match shooter so I don't need my trigger pull to be light enough to find the g spot on a gnat at 1000 yards. It's a fantastic pcc.

Have the CX4 and love it; still gotta take the Ruger for a spin. The Ruger seems to have ran well; one fte and one ftf isn’t bad.

I sent my Ruger back twice due to malfunctions. Never could get it 100%. Traded it back to the gun store at a big loss. Got a Storm on order.

i think all gun and shooting reviews should disclose the ammunition used in the video since that’s the first thing that most gun owners would want to know when they see failures. then we don’t have to keep asking that in the comment section, and assuming that it must be a low powered 115 gr. bullet.

Pencil Man good call on that. I will make sure to add that in the future. These 9mm test where done with 115gn Winchester white box and cheap 124 gn American eagle.

115 grain isn’t bad in a 9MM carbine for target shooting. But if you’re running 115G use good ammo. Winchester white box is trash in any caliber & has ruined so many barrels from squidding. The beretta storm is a good gun but not as good as a CZ scorpion. The Ruger pc 9 is a hit or miss. I’ve seen them fail time after time at the range & seen shoot offs where the Hi point ts hasn’t failed. So that’s pretty sad for Ruger. They should stick to 22lr.

@@paulcolletti8727 Browning Hi-Point is ugly as hell but boy is it bulletproof from about every torture test! I have a Cx4 Storm it feels amazing in hand, balanced for shooting shouldered one handed withe the grip clip

I like the ruger I only had failure to eject with the glock magazine. Had no issues with the ruger magazine

Thank you for the review. What ammo were you using when the Ruger failed to feed/eject? I heard it was more common with issue certain 147gr.

Luke Walsh 124 gn white box Winchester. I used some 147gn handloads to meet IDPA power factor (3.5gr titegroup @ 1.096” OAL 930fps) with no problems.

Honestly, I am between these three. I like the CZ the most, followed by the Beretta. IMO, the only things that has me debating the Ruger are Glock mags and the price. Were those aftermarket CZ mags that were having problems?

The problem with the Cz mags has nothing to do with Cz it’s the way they needed to pin to 5 rounds for Canadian law. Spring was catching the pin used so no spring pressure. Cz is great, not as good as Sig mpx but it is 1/2 the price so not really fair to compare with these 3. Cx4 has been 100% the hole time and shoot tight. The ruger is my least favourite but is the budget mind option.

Owning all 3 I can tell you the CZ is the least reliable of the 3. The px4 takes it followed by the Ruger pcc 9. The Scorpion is a distant 3rd imo.

Don't use glock mag on the ruger, use the original ruger magazine and you won't have any issue
