This is my go-to dish when m feeling lazy or out of things to cook. I love this. Nothing just potato, chillies, water and some spices. And what a lip-smackin' dish it turns out to be.

I am a big fan of indian food. I made this today but i only used quarter of a teaspoon of chill powder as we are not used to eating spicy. It turned out really good. I do not have a cooker so I just boiled the potatoes in a pan. I used small King Edward potatoes Thank you for the recepie and for the english instructions, it certainly helps people like me who like to try and cook indian meals.

Me as a beginner I was scared of doing this. But my parents really liked it. But there are few corrections as told by my mom 1) 2 chillies are low below than normal. If you guys have a intrest of eating spicy food, you can add 2 more to it 2) add some water to the mix immediately after adding kashmiri red chilli powder to prevent powder to get burnt. If not added, the colour changes from red to brown. 3) when curry is complete and the curry is still watery, mix 1 spoon of corn starch and 1/4 th glass water I.e 75ml and mix it seperately in a bowl and then add it. This thickens the curry. You can get best results if these are followed. It's really a nice recipe. Thank you for this one
