Quick and Easy Chunky Glitter Tack It Method with BT - CrystaLac - Epoxy Free

BT Chunky Tack It Method! Super quick video!
This is the best way to get your chunky glitter to lay flat!!! It’s super easy too!!!! The timing isn’t as critical with chunky glitter from my experience!!!
Here’s the process broken down:
- apply BT (regular coat)
- apply your chunky glitter
- let spin for 10-15 mins
- rub off excess glitter
- that’s it!
If you need a second coat, I recommend waiting 4 hours then applying to only the areas that need the glitter. Apply with the same process as above on second coat!!!

Randi Bowen yes though EP dries faster so you may have to adjust the timing!

Glitter peel is a normal part of the process with crystalac. Orange peel is not normal and means your coats are too thick or you are applying them too close in time.

Hi! Do you seal with anything between your first and second coat of glitter?

Not when doing the tack it method because it should be burnished into the BT

Do i need to paint it.. can i leave it on its original color ...should i sublimate my image first then do the glitter

I don’t know anything about sublimate images - so cant answer that. You do need a base coat of some kind - if you want to keep the original color, you can use EP or BT as a base coat before moving in to the glitter step
