Quick and easy wooden front door restore for less than $10 and under an hour!

My front door had not had any attention in over 10 years. It was very weathered and dry. I once put oil on teak wood so I figured I could do the same on my front door. I made a quick trip down to my local Ace Hardware and picked up some Old English Scratch Cover oil for light wood. In less than an hour the job was complete. I was more than pleased with the results. Earlier in the day I washed the door with Dawn dish soap and let it dry. I put on 4 coats of oil with 15 minutes between coats so it had time to soak in. This is a easy and rewarding project that anyone can do!
