Good job! Those plates of food are gorgeous and I’ll bet taste that way! Those peas over rice with cornbread on the side would make a meal. I’ve never added basil to peas, but I love jalapeños so I usually add them. And if you don’t have bacon, sausage also works.

Thank you!!! Anything over rice makes a meal to me. I love rice! 🤣 I love sausage in my red beans but have never tried it in purple hull peas. We will have to try that one day. 😊
