I had the same pinpointer issue with my simplex. It did help to shift frequencies a bit. That issue was why they made the mute button function.

I used that pointer for a while, never had interference issues with the nox though. check arron at South Coast Detecting, he uses the same pointer with the Legend. don't think he has issues mate. he may know how to deal with it 👍

That pinpointer problem is just crazy and obviously annoying bud. Have you tried playing with the sensitivity on the machine? Maybe adjusting the Legend may help. All the best and HH.

Do you need permission to detect on the beach?

No. There are a few however that are privately owned by holiday companies or military so you need to check

@@DetectorKev I'm a local lad so recognised the beach's you have been on. Something I've considered having a go at but never had taken it any further although I have a great interest in local history.
