Why is my text constantly getting cut off when I do anything? Blur and a ton of the other features just duplicates it on multiple lines. Don't understand this...

I have an error with the plugin. After i install it, when apply the effect crashes the program. I use it in AE 2018

Just found this today after looking for a good CA-Solution. And this indeed a great plugin but it's sadly unusable for me right now because it crashed my when working with it. It seems to be very random crashed when I change any settings or move around the timeline to preview animations etc. I'm using the latest version of AE with a RTX 3070. Haven't had any crashed in AE working with the stock plugins. But this one immediately killed my workflows :( I'd love to get this to work somehow.

Maybe I'm dumb, but how do I change the direction of the abbreviation itself? Right now it goes diagonally from the source but I want it to only go left and right.

This plugin is for After Effects or Adobe Premiere? Because when I unzip the file, the only thing that shows up is a plugin for Adobe Premiere. Are you sure that what’s available on the site is for After Effects?

Hi Mike! The position values can go negative to send them in the opposite direction, is that what you were looking for?

@@PluginEverything In my case, it would be nice to just have the aberration happen horizontally, instead of diagonally. One workaround is to put a Transform effect before QCA3 to rotate it 45 degrees, and then another Transform after to rotate it back. This workaround does cause pixel-level artifacts, so it would be nice if this was just officially supported. Hope that helps though!

When i crank up Distort Uniform on Text or a Logo i get unsexy rectangle-borders. What can i do about that? Also it does not always ditirt from my center point. can i change the posttion/direction somehow?

Compositing -> Repeat Edge Pixels -> Uncheck the box
