Always great to get the pedalboard out for some experimental stuff, bought a reamp DI years ago and it always comes in handy 👌🏼😊

Agreed. It's become such a big part of my writing lately too. Can be very inspiring while writing.

Talking about anologue mixers. I have a 12 channel, 4 sub/buss mixer. Using the busses (SUB), can I port the sound signal directly from the jack/outputs to an outboard interface via the connections on the board. 4 chanels of input Using the 2 aux sends in post fader mode, can I send 2 more channels from the jack/outputs to an outboard interface. The manufacturer won't help and nobody ever seems to answer.

Basically you're wanting to use the sub group outs as the send to your interface? Yes that should work fine. Same with the AUX sends. You may just have to to a little testing to get the levels the way you want them but that should give you 6 channels to your interface. Keep in mind with your AUXs in POST FADER any changes to the fade with change the AUX as well. PRE FADER (if it's possible) would give you an independent feed.

Hey man, since you have a couple reamp boxes, I wanted to ask you which one's the best/most transparent one (dynamically and tonally), especially for electric guitars? Is the Little Labs Red Eye 3D the best one you have or is the L2A DIY project better than the little labs? Would love to hear your opinion on this matter!

We've been trying out a few different reamp boxes. The little labs is decent but not my favorite as it tends to sound thinner. And noticeably so on some sources. It's my least favorite on guitars. We have been using two different Radial reamp boxes lately too. The JCR Studio Reamper(www.zzounds.com/a--3981559/item--RADREAMPJCR?siid=292637) and the (much cheaper) Pro RMP (www.zzounds.com/a--3981559/item--RADPRORMP?siid=292637). The JCR can be more open as it has some tone filtering options but...that --sometimes-- opens up some noise on the top end of the signal. It can be filtered out using the filtering options though. Overall the JCR sounds good and does not thin out the signal like we have noticed with the Little Labs. Having said that the PRO RMP and L2A are what I use the most. Neither one seems to alter the tone at all and they work wonderfully on any source. I reach for one of those first (the L2A is now permanently on my piano rig). The JCR would be third and the LL fourth. So my pick would be either the DIYRE L2A or the Radial PRO RMP. My production partner is a guitar player and he likes both of those as well.

@@Ultimatestudiosinc Thank you so much for your elaborate answer! I've been using the Walrus Audio Canvas Reamp box and I noticed that it thins out the bottom end a bit too much for my taste. I think I'll order both the JCR and the Pro RMP in order to audition them side by side to see which one comes out on top. It's a bit of a disappointment to read that the little labs, even though it's the most expensive of the bunch, is still not on par with a Pro RMP even, but I absolutely trust your opinion, since you're studio pro, so thanks for saving me the few hundred bucks!
