you didnt mention in the video but while following along I saw that sometimes after the increases, you will chain one? I just finished a whole cup and started my second one when I noticed so hopefully it wont make a huge difference ?

are they any ways to add more length to the straps and bottom strap after finishing it ? I underestimated how much yarn i would need

Yes, tie a knot to the strand that has run out and just continue crocheting with that. And then weave way the yarn from the knot once you’re done with the strap :)

Sorry Xx is it too fast ? But I can try type it. Chain 4; join the chain by going into the first chain with a slip stitch Row 1: make 3 Clusters separated by a chain 2 ( each cluster is 3 joint double crochets) Row 2: you’ll see that the cluster has on stitch, work 2 double crochets into the stitch, then when you get to the chain 2( where you need to increase) - make 1 cluster , chain 2 & then make another cluster( that’s how you increase) then the stitch directly next the increase ( it is the cluster from the previous round) you will make 2 double crochets into that stitch). Repeat this for the rest of the row Row 3: you will always make 2 double crochets in the cluster before & after you increase. In between your incricease( the corner bit) you just make abdouble crochet into every stitch. The pattern for increasing will remain the Same( 2 double crochets in the cluster stitch from the previous row & then you increase; then 2 double crochets). Whilst the side of the triangle will get more stitches every row( this means you’ll be making more double crochets in every stitch each round) You will make enough rows until the cup is at its desired size Hope this helps :)

@@livtully would you consider making a beginner series where you show how to do different stitches like the joint double crochet for example?

@@hadeimirela4036 absolutely!

I wish you would redo this tutorial because even as someone with knowledge of basic stiches you go too fast. Even with closed captions it's too quick.
