I'm so glad I found your video. I am a beginner. No clue about anything crochet related and I bought a kit to make flower coasters. The instructions in the box were awful and I had to seek help from KZbin and boy that just got worse. I saw a few talk you through videos and it was hopeless. And I finally found your video and I couldn't be happier. I made my flower coaster with such ease and I even made a pattern of my own with the little knowledge I gained from this video. I am now a new subscriber of yours. Can't wait to try out more patterns and learn more crochet skills

I have been knitting since I was 15 years old. I just learned to doing the basic crochet stitch SC and DC yesterday because I wanted to make a flower to put on a baby hat. I came across this video and I made a coaster to match my table runner which I knit with the linen stitch. I used bulky yarn so I stopped after reaching 48 stitches! You are so easy to understand and I learned a ton from your tutorial! Thank you! You have a new subscriber! Awesome teaching!

I tried the hayhay crochet tutorial first and it was more difficult to follow along. It took twice as long because there were more single crochets. However, I do like that the single crochets make it more stuff and sturdy feeling. This one is more simple because it’s just single and double and has no half double.
