I understood the stitch but had to fight with your recommended hook to get through those 2 loops....so frustrated till I tried a few other hooks and found that an 'N' works smoothly for me. Maybe it my yarn....using 'Yarn Bee' Velvety Smooth so maybe that's the problem or the fact that crochet is slow going for me idk. I battle life not my makes LOL. It won't be quite so tiny but adorable enough for me. Thanks for sharing all your tuts and darling projects. 😀

They certainly look fully with the plush/velvet yarn, but the pattern should also work with regular yarn!
