Very, very green! Do you have any issues with mosquitoes in the season? Sure is beautiful there, Craig. Thanks for this episode. I turned closed captioning on to see if KZbin could translate something on audio. Didn't see anything.

Oh yeh, the mosquitos can get very bad. We have a lot of the Asian Tiger variety, which attack round the clock. I recall one wet year when you couldn't even step out of the house without being immediately attacked. The last few years have been very mild though. People are more vigilant about keeping their gutters and bird baths cleaned out.

I had a thought on the mic thing. You may want to check the settings for external mic on the camera. The GP 10 appears to recognize when the external is plugged in. Probably the same on GP 9. If it didn't recognize the mic though the camera mic would pic it up. Anyway, just a thought.

@@ROTV-DanLockhart Good thought. But in this most recent case, there was some hum on the videos without audio, so it was as if it was somewhere in between connected and not. This, despite my double checking before departure that all three pieces were securely plugged in to one another. This is another objection to this whole configuration - three pieces of hardware to plug in a mic! Lots of room for failure there, in both the connection and the devices.
