Quick fix for a 2008 Honda Civic with a faulty horn!

If your car horn won’t stop going off in a 2008 Honda Civic, here’s a quick fix to get it operable again!

The same happened to my older son today afternoon. He got the 15 fuse out and the horn stopped, but had to go pick up my daughter without brake lights. At home, I tried what you showed on your vehicle. After struggling to find the horn plug cable, hidden under the airback yellow plug, I finally got it. It worked just as you said it would. Your video is more usefull than a lot of videos I saw from mechanic channels.👍🏻👍🏻

2006 Ridgeline. Horn warning starting blasting while leaving Olive Garden. LOTS of dirty looks...oh well. Ran into the same problem as your Civic; brake lights hooked into the same circuit. I intended to pull the fuse, but it was marked 'horn stop' which got me looking on KZbin. Your video saved me a lot of time and effort, explained everything needed and worked just like yours. Mine had its horn stuck and I tried to get ut to work by pushing it hard and the all of a sudden after a bunch of minutes...it started screaming on its own. I think my used car possibly got that broken in an accident. You saved my life,my car had that part in the wheel super stuck so I almost couldn't get it off cause it looks like they haven't touched that since it was new.

I didn’t pull my fuse BECAUSE it share the brake light fuse. I pulled the front bumper to pull disconnect the horn. This is the way. I raged on my steering wheel, and now I want my horn back.

I wish I would’ve seen this sooner, I took out the 15 fuse, I put it back, but now my brake light switch still isn’t working and I’m unable to shift out of park, the car turns over, just not able to shift

I have a 2008 Honda civic with the same amazing clearcoat issue you have but I don't have the clip you used to discount your horn I can't find that and I ripped everything out

F0ck this sheeet 😂😂😂😂. My 2010 started the same problem today, it’s so annoying I removed the 15 but u can’t removed the shift P to D so I put in Neutral first and than I removed the fuse 15 n drove home. Mechanic charged me $700+tax to fix the horn problem . Thank u so much for your video. Now I can go back to work and do my deliveries 🍕 🙏🏽

Had this problem today with a 2008 Civic EX coupe, taking the 15a fuse out of the box will either lock the engine from turning over or lock the gearshift. I'll have to try this when i get back home and hopefully its in the same place it was on your car cuz im not feeling opening the steering wheel. 😂

How did you eventually solve the underlying problem? I bumped my steering wheel putting on boots and now my horn blares constantly. I pulled the 15amp fuse, so I guess I don't have brake lights. I'm trying to figure out why the horn is blaring.

Bro I disconnected it from the bottom of the wheel but it still don’t let me drive bruh. Car turns on but don’t let me take it off park . Same vehicle.

There is a small plastic opening by shifter on pen it and push down on it it will let you take it out of park
