Very good video, I have the same problem. I am measuring the voltage on the old mist maker, but am getting O. Would you know if there is supposed to be any voltage at the mist maker, where the two wires are connected to the round white mist maker? I am getting voltage to the circuit board. But do not want to spend money on a new ultrasonic mist maker if the circuit board is shot and not providing current to the mist maker. I tried AC and DC and get 0 amps, volts, 0 anything. Unless when the mist maker is shot it has no current going to it. I cleaned everything else up and have tried getting it going. Thak you in advance.

I think it is not electric shock sir. It is the vibration produced by the mist maker

How is mist increased when putting on higher setting? Is a longer pulse sent to the diaphragm (ie. lower setting, diaphragm is off longer)? Does the droplet size change with the output setting?

I think the mist is not vary because they rely on frequency applied and those frequency is not change. Mist can be adjusted by the air coming from the fan which pushes the mist.

I didn't have to replace the ultrasonic plate on my Anjou diffuser, all I did was take it apart and wipe it down with alcohol and it started working like new.

Being doing the same thing almost for 10 years now. 😂 Wipe with alcohol and it's good as new. The only thing that broke down during that time was the fan, and that was replaced. Changing the ultrasonic unit isn't a long term 'solution', because this sort of issue keeps happening due to water quality.

Mine has stopped working too. Fan is ok, led is ok, and even i can see the water vibrating above the piezoelectric atomizer but it is not making mist. Is it still possible that the atomizer is bad? Maybe it is not completely bad, it is working some way but not correctly?

If you have a multimeter, you can measure the output voltage of the terminal. Just turn on the humidifier af adjust the knob then tap the probe on the two terminal. You can easily determine where is the positive and negative

My original intention for this humidifier was to use it for plants that require high moisture levels. After using it in my room, kzbin.infoUgkxtD9aJ2m6GU-X1IChQxjn9l31K1A7Kpwj however, I think that's where it is going to stay in the fall and winter season at least. The increased humidity in my room made the room warmer and more comfortable. I had first ran the humidifier for 4 hours with the timer setting for it. After the first hour, I checked my room and can feel the difference. When the full 4 hours was up, I checked again and noticed that the humidifier was shut off as it is suppose to. The moisture level never seem to get passed 56/57%. I then let it run until all the water is used up, which it wasn't all used up. There are still some left in the base that you are not suppose to add water to. I filled up the water tank all the way again, being careful when removing it from the base. Some left over water may spill out. After putting it back on and setting the unit to auto, I let it operate. It didn't stop running, rather I don't know if it did at any point since I didn't check it regularly, for 24 hours after which the water in the tank ran out. The moisture reading never passed 56/57%, which may be a good thing for me. Being situated right next to my bed, the noise was not very noticeable with the occasional water gurgle from time to time as the unit ran.
