tested luck, you dont need as much, bananas need 5000 luck to be droppable, on all trees, ive got axe, amulet, and 350 con perks, thats roughly 3000, adding 2 trophies 1500 each, im sitting at 6000luck and im getting about same rate you did, basic misunderstanding of luck is: it does not increase yield, it only makes loot of items viable... also tested in ebon, area is bigger, uncontested, adn mixes in some higher resources as well, such as iron hide, T1,4 and 5 fiber, azoth water, fishing spots, head south from settlement past euphorcea, beach and road above it on both sides is full of banana trees, sadly we have low rates on bananas on Abaton EU, measly 3/pc

It always amazes me how smart people like you figure this stuff out with games! That's awesome info! I know in general games will have either a cap or a diminishing return on things or even both! I never thought it would apply to luck in this case though. That said, I do know that the higher luck wont result in more yield... Yield will determine how many bananas you get when you do happen to get bananas... Where as luck determines the chance of you getting the banana in the first place. Regardless, that is awesome info. Thank you! I really appreciate your comment and your insight! I definitely don't know everything about New World. I'm still learning more and more every day! And yes, after having posted this video I realized there is a spot in Ebonscale just north-ish of my spot actually! (If that is the spot you are referring to of course.) I guess when I post a video in general I'm trying to be specific about each gatherable... at least for now anyways!

IDK when I PvP flagged when cutting down banana trees, it increased yield by almost 10% for me, on average.

Nice! I didn't know about the amulet luck increase! You can also PvP flag (if you're willing to risk it) to increase luck, as well. That spot is pretty nice, but if you want a BOAT-LOAD of banana trees (you'll be cutting them down non-stop), try South-west Cutlass Keys (Balmy Veldt Shrine) around the mountain surrounding Pond Scum Fort. If you go around the outside of that mountain structure, it is SURROUNDED on 3/4 of it's sides by Banana trees. I just go in a counter-clockwise rotation and NEVER run out of trees to cut down. 😛

Ahhhh yeah! Nice I'll have to check that spot out now! Thanks so much for sharing that info! I know of another spot too just North of where I was in Ebonscale Reach that is pretty good as well... I like this one for the convenience of it being right next to town for sure though. Good point on the PvP addition. I'm usually not brave enough to do that though lol. Especially since I'll be in my logging gear =p. I've done it a few times and paid the price lmao. Thanks again for sharing that info and for the comment :)

@@CoffeeNoobTV LOL I know the feeling - I've had it happen. There was one time, though, where I was able to run away based on the haste I have from my logging axe LMAO - I just chopped the 1-hit trees and was able to outrun the other person.

Hello and welcome! Yes, you can sell bananas as is on the market or use them to make the tier 5 attribute bonus foods. There is one for each; strength, dexterity, intelligence, focus and constitution. The reason this video only discusses how to farm bananas is because I was trying to show a way for newer players to make some quick $. Making the food takes several ingredients and you also need to be at least 205 in the Cooking trade skill. (Most newer players wouldn't be that high in Cooking) I plan on making a separate video on where to farm the materials needed to make these items in the near future. :) Thanks so much for the comment and not hesitating to ask your question! I'm always willing to help. ***DON'T FORGET You can also make charcoal (smelting) or timber (woodworking) out of the green wood that you get from chopping the banana trees as well to quickly sell for even more money that you will passively get from farming for the bananas.***

@@CoffeeNoobTV I believe bananas are only used for the Strength/Dexterity/Constitution foods. But you need to be Cooking level 205 to make any of those. 😁 If you're a far way off from level 205 cooking, just selling the bananas on the trading post would give you some solid gold. 👍

Hey @@ShAd0w0100 I checked NWDB.info to check because I wasn't sure myself but that is incorrect. Tostones (focus) and Fruit Salad (Int (There are two types so make sure it's correct one)) also use bananas.
