4:52 you can skip the whole maze by pressing on the lever and opening your skill tab and pressing on one of the skills to open the lvl up list, this stalls the game and you just run straight through the grid without failing. Works everytime.

OmG I had to wait until those last two jumps to comment this BUT THA K YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS GUIDE. Just finished with 22 agility...😅 Clocked in at about 5 hours... I literally had to redo the jump for the demons, the cat, and the witch.. so many times. Then you said if you miss those last two... and my heart sank. But I made it! There is a comment here that will really help you. It says to click the lever on the other side of the grid, then open the health overlay of your character to automatically cross the grid without damage. Super easy stuff. Thanks to that dude, this part is not a nightmare.

I just completed this and found it easy. I fell once, at the very last jump to Iban's Temple. My grid path was a straight line, starting with the first tile I tried, so no falls there. I was expecting the quest to be really annoying xD

I remember doing this quest back in 2004, it was very hard. It was one of the few quests I remember vividally. I had monks robe, dragon sword, rune helmet and holy symbol, and an inventory of sword fishes and lobsters. I was so glad there was a place to buy food in the pass, because I was running out. And I also remember encountering one other player there, he was an archer, we chatted for a bit. No grand exchange and easy way to get agility boosts either. Difficult game designs like this are a thing of the past. I think all Runescape players need to experience this quest. Ironically, the previous quest biohazard was easy (although very long), I did that quest back during RSC.

@@slayermusiq1 Can you add in the labels for each quest section (such as bank intermissions, battles, etc.). I find these extremely helpful and one of the very first things I look at when doing a quest is the number of bank intermissions you put and the items you take for each. It gives a pretty easy overview of what to be prepared for in each section of the quest. I am actually about to start this one.

i managed to do this quest at 51 agility (with one boosting potion) without many issues. i did fall twice in a row on the rope swing across the 1st gap and had to grab more on my literal first trek through, but aside from that the only time i fell was one time on my way to grab the witch’s cat. i can definitely see how frustrating it would be for someone with a lower ability level tho

For anyone trying to safe spot the paladins, the fire did not work for me. Attack one, then run directly south and stand against the stalagmite. It will force the paladins against the west all and they cannot walk any further back. For the paladin that starts with a J, run south as far as he will walk, take one step back and to the east and he will get stuck behind the stalagmites on the western side in that room.

i know a lot of people hated this quest but personally, i loved it. like yeah it was pretty lengthy and repetetive sometimes, but at least it had actual puzzles and challenges for the player to solve, instead of just being a glorified running simulator of talking from one npc to the next, like 90% of the quests in the game
