Thank you, Miranda! After a little practice, I think I’ve got it! You’re right…it’s all about knowing where to look, tension, and rhythm.

Thank you! Watching your video had helped me to understand how to make a flat panel! I have watched other videos and they did not give me detailed instructions like this. I will have to try the I cord as well.

Hello Miranda it’s Mimi! You saved my opening day with this tutorial. Today is Friday, tomorrow is my shop Grand re-opening and the Prym icord machine I ordered is so difficult to catch. Now I can proceed and have item presented to show. Thank you! 💕🤗

Thank you sooo much. Your instructions are so clear. I now know what I was doing wrong. I was not letting the yarn go over the bump. Will be making a lot of cords now.

I think I'm getting the hang of it Miranda! I love it, at first I thought I had to have the switch up for plain knitting, I did not hear the part where you said to knit in circular knitting. I just have to keep an eye on those bumps, perhaps I will try to make your easy peasy red,black and white hat for my husband's bigger head. Thank you once again.

I'm hoping my machine comes soon I am a crocheter and thought that a cheap little knitting machine might be a good way to get some larger projects out quicker. I ordered the 22 needle one I figure if I like using it I can save up to get a larger one. I also hope it gives me something I can do when my hands get too bad to hold crochet hooks.I think I have 4 of your videos in my watch later list so I can refer back when I finally get it. Thank you for the wonderful video. Have a wonderful day!

What size of crochet hook will work with icord?
@MaakhetmetMiranda4 жыл бұрын
Just try since every yarn and tension gives a different output. I even knit with my arms with it. 😉 But knit 30 cm and try. It takes a few minutes. Good luck!

Do you have it on panel or tube knitting
@MaakhetmetMiranda2 жыл бұрын
I thought I told it on the video. 🤷🏻♀️. Please watch the complete video.

Tube knitting. Many video knitters indicate that they leave in tube mode, even for panel knitting. The key I think is getting the edges right, probably takes a little practice. Hope this helps.

There is a video that someone did of another way to make icord that involves using the machine in circular mode. I tried it but got discouraged quickly. This way looks easier. I just have to be more careful with my edges, the stitches have a tendency to drop. Maybe they won't drop so much when there are only four of them. :)
@MaakhetmetMiranda3 жыл бұрын
To be true. Just practice. You will get the hang. It does not matter how many stitches the panel is. I never use panel modus. That’s not exact and will only work for maximum width panels. But the knitter has always to watch her or his knitting. The machine is nothing more than knitting needles that knit 50 times faster than regular needles but the human is the knitter.
