Thanks! For the left hand it's the same motion as going up or down a fingerboard on a cello, and for the right hand it's the same as piano, drums, violin, etc. Also, I have to point out, each controller is symmetrical, so if you are left-hand dominant you can play it with the hands switched from what I'm doing.

I wouldn't say "essentially", because there's a lot more to the glide than just sliding from note to note. But it can do all of those sliding sounds that the theremin is famous for (a lot easier than you can on the theremin), plus it does a lot of other stuff (tone changes, fast runs and arpeggios, etc). And you can play drums with it. :)

Hello! It's a MIDI controller, so it can run on a large variety of synths and synth apps. The easiest for a lot of people would be to plug it into a USB port on a computer and run a program like Vital, Ableton, or Garageband. If you don't have a computer, you can use a tablet or phone and connect it via bluetooth. I've made a video about this, but I'll probably make a few more to show people specific ways to get started. Does that answer your question?

Good question! You use the thumbstick. Pushing it left or right will raise or lower any note by a half-step.

The Glide *can* do a lot of theremin-ish stuff, but you don't *have* to slide between every note like a theremin. I use it more like a cello, where you play individual pitches but can occasionally slide from one note to another. Plus, it's way easier to play, and you can play drums and chords with it as well.
