ну, вряд ли она сможет составить конкуренцию народной UV-K5, памяти побольше вроде как, но с гидроизоляцией еще хуже, даже порт USB открытым оставили...что с прошивкой тоже не ясно, в целом, с учетом практически равной цены я бы все же взял уже проверенную и изученную вдоль и поперек К5...))

Yes that is true. But it feels like a nice one for the price. I have a feeling that behind is a similar firmware. Not bad, but for sure it can become better. I am more of an HF guy, but I don't mind playing with satellites now and then using these 😁. 73, YO6DXE

@@dxexplorer no good. I’m in a similar situation. Working evenings as well as during the day. There’s also been work for me on Saturdays and studio session work on Sundays. I did operate portable on the previous Sunday after we wrapped up at the studio.. Took the big loop out to Windsor Downs one of the registered parks. Also managed a couple of parks sessions with George VK2AOE one of which is just up on his Art of Engineering channel But pretty much the only CW I’m getting has been on VBand on my phone. My code is slipping badly. I’ve been missing the Tuesday night QRS sessions. My _poke-out-the-window-tenna_ turned into an Aldus Lamp briefly with the fixed band capacitive tuning stub turning into a pile of ash. I got it going again and snuck a couple of short QSOs to make sure it wouldn’t burst into flames again. Which it didn’t. But yeah. Such is life.

@MidlifeRenaissanceMan Ohhh I hear you. I was up in the mountains in the scouts camp helping out to fix a roof and create more sleeping space for the kids that come in camps, then once I got home... I must catch up with a lot of work I am behind with. Some are the videos for KZbin as well. I am trying to leave many projects I am involved in because I am slowly running out of battery. Cheers and have a great weekend. Maybe I have a little time to turn on the transceiver for a change. 73
